For some reason, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has been portrayed as some sort of statesman by several Internet and even mass media sources, particularly with the unusally soft tone he took during the latest battle.
Nasrallah was very vocal about his destructive policies leading up to the current conflict. His intollerant world view is broadcast all over Lebanon with his repeated calls for the death and destruction of of Israel and America. Unfortunately, these tirades and rants are ignored by Western media.
In this clip broadcast on Al-Manar TV on 2/23/2006 only a few months before the current conflict and viewed all over Lebanon - Nasrallah laid out this histrionic, inciting tens-of-thousands of Lebanese.
"AMERICA AMERICA YOU ARE THE GREAT SATAN!" Calls out Nasrallah. These ralies aren't an abberation caused by some event. They are systematic, organized, and are funded by the Iranian regime, the rhetoric of which, is no better, if not worse than Nasralla's.

This directly contravenes the laws of war as spelled out in the Geneva Conventions. Here are some excerpts to keep in mind when there is loose talk of war crimes: Both Protocol I and Article 28 of the Geneva Convention (IV) make clear that "the deliberate intermingling of civilians and combatants, designed to create a situation in which any attack against combatants would necessarily entail an excessive number of casualties is a flagrant breach of the Law of International Armed Conflict," according to international law scholar Yoram Dinstein (see his The Conduct of Hostilities under the Law of International Armed Conflict, Cambridge University Press, 2004, pp. 129 - 130). In short, Hezbollah is in violation of the laws of war when it places missiles and rockets in villages and homes in order to shield them from Israeli attack. Article 51(7) of Protocol I states: "The presence or movements of the civilian population or individual civilians shall not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations, in particular attempts to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield, favour or impede military operations." And the Geneva Convention (IV) holds that "The presence of a protected person may not be used to render certain points of areas immune from military operations." (Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, 1949, Laws of Armed Conflicts, 495, 511.) Moreover, the Rome Statute is clear that "utilizing the presence of civilians or other protected persons to render certain points, areas or military forces immune from military operations is recognized as a war crime by Article 8 (2) (b) (xxiii)". I imagine the Zionist terrorist from early Israeli history would know alot about that. They would know from aexperience that when you are a facing greatly superior force it is neccessary to fight a guerrilla war and employ methods such as terrorism to achieve results.
It is impossible for a native force to fight a superior outside force without employing guerilla methods and thereby automatically violating aforementioned convention. You should know that. Israel should know that. they should remember that. they used it to fight the British. Guerilla warfare for good or evil is fought a certain way.

Nasrallah is a good friend of mine. He is a kind and gentle man.
There are all kinds of Guerrilla fighters. There were the Colonists who fought the British to establish the USA. There were the French Underground and the Mordechai Anilevich Guerrilas of Warsau who fought the Nazis in WWII. There were the Montagnard fighters in Vietnam who fought against the Communists.
And yes, there were Jews who,,, Gulp,,,, used guerrilla tactics to jump start the State of Israel but subsequently were rolled into the IDF. These people all fought for something worthwhile and decentand they only fought against military targets. They didn't target civilians.
Then, there were,The Bolsheviks, Pol Pot and the Kmer Rouge, Al Qaeida, AlFatah. Black September and Hezbollah. Bad people, bad ideology, bad actions. Murderers, despots and dictators, who enjoyed killing their own people as much as they liked killing the enemy. There is a difference,like it or not.

Finding a few extreme examples in Israel's history and pointing out vague examples of injustice does not justify Hezbollah nor does it nullify Israel's absolute right to defend itself in the most agressive , pre-emptive fashion.
The very fact that we see such behavior as a deviation,that we don't accept,defend or condone such behavior shows the absolute definition between what Israel does and represents and the behavior of our enemies. To the Hezbollah and the other Arabs, killing civilians , is a Mitzvah, a good and worthwhile thing to be celebrated in public. To us it is shameful and wasteful and unfortunate. While we are willing to accept them(the Arabs) as neighbors, ultimately, their goal is our complete destruction. Ask them. If they are truthful, they will tell you exactly that this is indeed their goal.
Anything else that they tell you is a lie made up for consumtion by the Western Media.
